2.6m Donation to Build Sunshine Insurance Caring Schools

    At around 3 pm on May 20, 2008, a donation ceremony of  Sunshine Insurance Group to Sichuan quake-hit zones was held at Chinese Red Cross Foundation(CRCF) in Beijing. On behalf of Sunshine Insurance Group, Vice President of Sunshine Life Insurance Ning Shoubo handed the check of 2.6 million yuan donation to the hands of CRCF Vice Chairman Ms Jiang Dan, which will be specially used to set up “Sunshine Insurance Caring Schools” in those quake-hit zones.
    To help the relief work in quake-hit zones in China’s south-east Sichuan Province, Sunshine Insurance Group established a special fund right after the earthquake. Among 2.6 million yuan donation, 2 million yuan stand for Sunshine Insurance Group and 600,000 yuan are from the staff.
